Five free monthly creative workshops for LGBTQIA+ residents on low incomes, experiencing financial hardship or social isolation during the cost-of-living crisis. Organised by Aghh! Zine from 30 May to 15 August 2026, the programme included Beginners Bookbinding, Writing the Elements, Disrupted Rhythms, a Rhythmanalysis Workshop, The Magic of the Mixtape, Zine-making Workshop, and a Texture Printing Workshop. Funded by the Brighton & Hove City Council Fairness Fund for People 2025–2026 and supported by Lighthouse.

This watercolour painting was done in response to attending One Church Brighton, which is very inclusive of LGBT+ people, with services about Queer Theology and Pride Communions. This painting shows how the unconditional love and acceptance of God mirrors that of the LGBT+ community. Despite how much the church has rejected gay people, some at One Church find it a place to heal. Created in May 2025

The shoestring budget and DIY ethos meant the LGBTQI+ club night Housewife's Choice was a cheap date - decor created from the begged, borrowed and nicked. Painted in our flat at Wilbury Road by Queenie and Michele the bedsheets were transformed to keep the 50s Housewife ideal alive.
